Impact-rated windows provide permanent protection for eligible openings while also improving security, comfort, and weather resistance. If specific windows are recommended for improvement, we can help you compare Florida-approved impact window options for your home.
Exterior doors may qualify as opening protection when recommended by the MSFH inspection. Available options include hurricane-rated entry and patio doors designed to meet applicable Florida Building Code requirements.
Impact windows are not the only option for protecting eligible openings. Depending on your inspection report and the needs of your home, hurricane shutters or other qualifying storm protection systems may be appropriate.
The MSFH Program may also recommend protection for garage doors, skylights, and other vulnerable openings. Your inspection report determines which improvements are eligible, and our team can help identify which recommendations match the services we provide.

After approval, Mr. Build can complete the selected improvements, including applicable permitting and installation requirements.
